Just moved to Oakton, any tips?

OK so Military spouse here. It's a a smaller city city with about 36,776 people. Poverty rate is 2.8%, which is pretty low. With a population of 36,776, Oakton is a smaller city. Crime rate is something to consider -Oakton sits at 73.9 per 100K. The city has invested a lot in new development. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Worth the trade-offs? It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The city has invested a lot in new development.
