Hey folks, Been living here since 2013. Poverty rate is 1.8%, which is pretty low. With a population of 9,233, Oakville is a small town. Crime rate is something to consider -Oakville sits at 139.9 per 100K. The city has invested a lot in new development. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. What are your go-to spots? It's not perfect, but the community is solid. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Night life is decent if you know the right spots.
