Longtime lurker here, With a population of 35,166, Oakville is a smaller city. Homes are going for about $292,500 on average. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Is this normal for Oakville? People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are solid, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.
