Thinking about relocating to Oatfield from Tucson

OK so I relocated for work and Poverty rate is 3.5%, which is pretty low. Median household income is $103,483, which feels pretty solid for the area. The median home value here is around $523,900, which is pretty steep. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Any advice would be great. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Property taxes are high but you get good services.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 8 years ago from Atlanta and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in South. It's pretty good for what you get.

Jobs: The market is manageable right now, especially in consulting. If you're in tech you might struggle.

People: Generally surprisingly good. It took about 3 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: surprisingly good. Tons of options if you like Thai.

No regrets on my end..

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 1 years ago from Denver and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: The market is competitive but not impossible. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in East. It's average for what you get.

Jobs: The market is established right now, especially in legal. If you're in finance you might struggle.

People: Generally hit or miss. It took about 12 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: challenging. Tons of options if you like seafood.

It's not for everyone but it works for us..
