Not sure if this has been asked before, but I've been here for 19 years and You can expect to pay around $870 for rent here. Poverty rate is 25.5%, which is higher than I expected. The unemployment rate is 0.9%, which is pretty low. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Any advice would be great. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The city has invested a lot in new development. The weather takes some getting used to. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus.
