Things Ocean Pines needs to improve

Alright, I'm a nurse at the local hospital and Crime rate is something to consider -Ocean Pines sits at 65.2 per 100K. Average temperature is around 56--F, so the weather is moderate. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. What would you do?

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem hit or miss.

I've been here 9 years and it's exactly what I was looking for. The thing nobody mentions is food scene. It's competitive and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the healthcare is legit. And if you're into skiing, this place is better than expected.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Uptown side vs the Highland side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..
