Moving to Ocean Shores with kids -good idea?

My family moved here when I was a kid. Median household income is $62,750, which feels about average for the area. The median home value here is around $378,000, which seems about average. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.

Weather-wise, the summers are excellent and winters are wild. You get used to it after the first year.
