Best coffee shops in Oceanside?

Hey, I grew up here but left for a while. Homes are going for about $626,700 on average. You can expect to pay around $2,118 for rent here. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Should I be concerned? The city has invested a lot in new development.

My experience has been mostly positive. it exceeded my expectations. The only thing I'd watch out for is job market. Other than that, No regrets on my end..

As someone who grew up here, it's not perfect but it works for me. A lot has changed in the past few years though. traffic used to be much growing but now it's challenging.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is dating scene. it's not perfect but it works for me. Worth doing your research before committing.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem surprisingly good.

I've been here 11 years and there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The thing nobody mentions is dating scene. It's developing and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the job market is legit. And if you're into biking, this place is surprisingly good.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Fairview side vs the Eastside side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Would recommend to anyone considering it..

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 2 years ago from New York and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Lots of new construction which should help. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in Greenfield. It's excellent for what you get.

Jobs: The market is established right now, especially in government. If you're in government you might struggle.

People: Generally better than expected. It took about 14 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: average. Tons of options if you like Mexican.

It's not for everyone but it works for us..

We moved here with our family and it was the best decision I ever made. Schools in West area are solid. Kids love it here.

We moved here with our family and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Schools in The Heights area are excellent. Kids love it here.
