Oconomowoc housing prices -when will it stop?

Hey folks, Just moved here 5 months ago and Poverty rate is 3.7%, which is pretty low. With a population of 18,385, Oconomowoc is a small town. Homes are going for about $367,700 on average. It's a a small town city with about 18,385 people. The city has invested a lot in new development. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. I'd say it's better for families than young singles.

Pros:
- Affordable cost of living
- Lots of new development
- Strong sense of community

Cons:
- Hot summers
- Limited nightlife
- High property taxes
- Far from major airports
Worth the trade-offs? The city has invested a lot in new development. The city has invested a lot in new development. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The weather takes some getting used to. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.
