Been meaning to ask this. Been living here since 2012. With a population of 114K, Odessa is a mid-size city. Average temperature is around 68--F, so the weather is moderate. The median home value here is around $208,000, which is actually reasonable. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Does this match your experience? Any help is appreciated. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The city has invested a lot in new development. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.
