Cheapest neighborhoods in O'Fallon?
Hey, Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Appreciate any input.

Used to live on the Uptown side, now on the Pine Hills side. Completely different vibe. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem surprisingly good.
I've been here 10 years and it's improved dramatically in recent years. The thing nobody mentions is weather. It's stable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.
That said, the school system is legit. And if you're into camping, this place is excellent.
Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The South side vs the Midtown side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.
Definitely worth checking out..

We moved here with our family and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Schools in Riverside area are surprisingly good. Kids love it here.

Moved here from Houston about 6 years ago. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Still getting used to job market but Would recommend to anyone considering it..

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want pet-friendliness, then yeah this place is great. But if cultural scene matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.
