Moving to O'Fallon with kids -good idea?

OK so It's a a smaller city city with about 32,139 people. With a population of 32,139, O'Fallon is a smaller city. The unemployment rate is 2.1%, which is pretty low. Average temperature is around 58--F, so the weather is moderate. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Any help is appreciated. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The weather takes some getting used to. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The suburbs are where most families end up. The suburbs are where most families end up. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The food scene here is surprisingly good. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem challenging.

I've been here 4 years and it's improved dramatically in recent years. The thing nobody mentions is school system. It's wild and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the community vibe is legit. And if you're into golfing, this place is challenging.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Meadowbrook side vs the Maple Ridge side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

No regrets on my end..
