Relocating to O'Fallon, IL -pros and cons?

Hey folks, I'm single, late 30s, and Median household income is $102,793, which feels pretty solid for the area. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Does this match your experience? The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.

As someone who grew up here, I have mixed feelings honestly. A lot has changed in the past few years though. cost of living used to be much developing but now it's average.

We moved here with our family and it's been a really good experience overall. Schools in Westside area are surprisingly good. Kids love it here.

Public transit is challenging here. You'll probably need a car for most things. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad.

I work in marketing here and I'm still on the fence after all this time. The job market for my field is improving. Happy to answer more specific questions..

Came here for my partner's job and stayed because it was the best decision I ever made. The job market is honestly underrated and I don't see that changing anytime soon.
