How is O'Fallon for outdoor activities?

Not sure if this has been asked before, but I'm a teacher here and Homes are going for about $305,100 on average. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Would love some local perspective. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.

Came here for work and stayed because I genuinely enjoy living here. The food scene is honestly decent and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 4-bedroom. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Compared to Seattle it's underrated.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. it's not perfect but it works for me. Internet is better than expected in most areas.
