What I love about living in O'Fallon

I've been living in O'Fallon, MO for 9 years now and honestly, there's a lot to love. The food scene is amazing. Schools in our area are really good. The community here is really tight-knit. If you're thinking about moving here, feel free to ask me anything.

Don't sleep on Pine Grove. It's up and coming and still affordable.

Public transit needs work but they're investing in it. Should improve in next few years.

For families, I'd recommend looking at Maple Heights. Schools are rated well and it's quiet.

Weather is the biggest factor for us. Four seasons are nice, not too extreme either way.

Totally agree with this. I've been here 6 years and my experience is very similar.

Respectfully disagree about the job market. In my experience, it really depends on your lifestyle.

Great post! One thing I'd mention is check out the local Facebook groups for neighborhood info. Makes a big difference.

Downtown is overrated and overpriced. The suburbs offer way better value.

The job market has been improving lately. Several logistics companies moved in recently.

I'd add that the school system has been improving steadily. Otherwise spot on!
