Housing in Ogdensburg compared to Nashville

Hello, Born and raised here. Crime rate is something to consider -Ogdensburg sits at 343.4 per 100K. The median home value here is around $82,100, which is actually reasonable. Rent is about $761/month for a decent place. Average temperature is around 45--F, so bundle up in winter. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. What are your go-to spots? The city has invested a lot in new development. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem tough.

I've been here 1 years and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The thing nobody mentions is pet-friendliness. It's competitive and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the food scene is legit. And if you're into biking, this place is solid.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Uptown side vs the Westside side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Happy to answer more specific questions..
