Moving from Phoenix to Ojus next month

Hey, Been living here since 2008. With a population of 17,101, Ojus is a small town. Poverty rate is 10.4%, which is around average. Homes are going for about $298,500 on average. Average temperature is around 76--F, so it's warm year-round. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The city has invested a lot in new development. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The weather takes some getting used to. The suburbs are where most families end up. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The city has invested a lot in new development. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.
