Anyone work in healthcare in Okeechobee?

Not sure if this has been asked before, but I grew up here but left for a while. You can expect to pay around $1,008 for rent here. Crime rate is something to consider -Okeechobee sits at 226.4 per 100K. The weather takes some getting used to. Has anyone dealt with this?

So, I'm a nurse at the local hospital and Median household income is $50,365, which feels on the lower side for the area. Rent is about $1,008/month for a decent place. Quick question about Okeechobee

First post here. Born and raised here. You can expect to pay around $1,008 for rent here. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Thoughts? It's not perfect, but the community is solid. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's not perfect, but the community is solid.
