We relocated for my husband's job in hospitality. Nightlife is decent if you know where to go.
Median income here is around which {inc_feel}. Property values in Paseo Arts District went up 16% last year alone.
What I like:
- Good parks and trails
- Good airport
- Good internet
- Pet-friendly city
What I don't:
- Rising rent
- Not very walkable
- Property taxes
The parks system here is underrated. Traffic has gotten noticeably worse in the past year.
What's your experience been?

OK since this keeps coming up, here's my definitive Oklahoma City guide from someone who's been here way too long.
**Neighborhoods ranked (my opinion):**
Tier 1 (if you can afford it):
- Moore: safest area, good schools
- Plaza District: solid value for the location
Tier 2 (best value):
- Crown Heights: great community feel
- Deep Deuce: good schools, safe streets
Avoid (unless you know what you're doing):
- I won't name names but do your research on anything significantly below market rate
**Cost Reality Check:**
- 1-bed decent area: /mo
- 2-bed decent area: /mo
- Groceries for 2: /mo
- Car insurance: underrated compared to national avg
- Utilities: /mo average
**The Honest Truth:**
The airport connections are {adj} which matters if you travel.. Oklahoma City is established but it's not for everyone. If you value space over nightlife, you'll love it. If it's the other way around, maybe consider Nashville.
Feel free to ask specifics.

**Neighborhoods ranked (my opinion):**
Tier 1 (if you can afford it):
- Yukon: walkable, great restaurants, young crowd
- Bricktown: affordable with character
Tier 2 (best value):
- Automobile Alley: great community feel
- Deep Deuce: good schools, safe streets

**The Honest Truth:**
The suburbs vs city debate here is real.. Oklahoma City is pricey but it's not for everyone. If you value affordability over walkability, you'll love it. If it's the other way around, maybe consider Houston.
Hope that helps!
