I'm retired and Household incomes average around $39,060 in Okmulgee. Rent is about $799/month for a decent place. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Any advice would be great. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The suburbs are where most families end up. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.
