Things Olive Branch needs to improve

Longtime lurker here, I'm single, late 30s, and Homes are going for about $269,900 on average. The unemployment rate is 1.7%, which is pretty low. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The suburbs are where most families end up. What neighborhoods would you suggest?

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value cultural scene, you'll love it. The housing market is genuinely tough and I've found it's been a really good experience overall. My neighborhood (Midtown) is competitive and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Tampa, be prepared for the culture shock. walkability is completely different here. And Limited high-paying job options.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.

Bought a house here in 2020 and it's improved dramatically in recent years. Property values have gone up significantly since then.

I've been living here for 12 years and I'd say the quality of life is solid. The food scene is excellent compared to other places I've lived. Overall Hope this helps!.
