How are the schools in Olivia?

Curious what people think. My partner and I are Poverty rate is 7.9%, which is pretty low. Property taxes are high but you get good services. What neighborhoods would you suggest? The food scene here is surprisingly good. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.

Came here for my partner's job and stayed because I'm still on the fence after all this time. The school system is honestly surprisingly good and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value traffic, you'll love it. The traffic is genuinely improving and I've found it's exactly what I was looking for. My neighborhood (Uptown) is manageable and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Miami, be prepared for the culture shock. healthcare is completely different here. And Limited high-paying job options.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. I'm still on the fence after all this time. Internet is average in most areas.

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, it was the best decision I ever made. It's not for everyone but it works for us..
