Longtime lurker here, Household incomes average around $107,381 in Olympia Heights. With a population of 13,179, Olympia Heights is a small town. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 8 years ago from LA and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in Cedar Grove. It's surprisingly good for what you get.
Jobs: The market is manageable right now, especially in hospitality. If you're in real estate you might struggle.
People: Generally average. It took about 5 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: better than expected. Tons of options if you like Korean.
Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are surprisingly good, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

The food scene here is tough. Tons of great Asian places. it's not perfect but it works for me.
