Housing in Omaha compared to Salt Lake City

So, With a population of 488K, Omaha is a mid-size city. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Has anyone dealt with this? Property taxes are high but you get good services. The city has invested a lot in new development. It's changing fast — some good, some not so much. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.

My experience has been mostly positive. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The only thing I'd watch out for is safety. Other than that, Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

I've been living here for 7 years and I'd say it was the best decision I ever made. The dating scene is decent compared to other places I've lived. Overall Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..
