So, Average temperature is around 63--F, so the weather is moderate. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Am I overthinking this? The suburbs are where most families end up. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The suburbs are where most families end up.

I'm a social worker and I've found it's been a really good experience overall. The community is better than expected and there's always something going on.

Came here for cost of living and stayed because I love the pace of life here. The weather is honestly hit or miss and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.
If you value weather, you'll love it. The cost of living is genuinely average and I've found it exceeded my expectations. My neighborhood (South) is growing and I feel safe walking around at night.
But if you're coming from Denver, be prepared for the culture shock. weather is completely different here. And Urban sprawl is real.
My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.
