Crime rate is something to consider -Oneida sits at 377.4 per 100K. Household incomes average around $60,380 in Oneida. It's a a small town city with about 10,240 people. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Does this match your experience? The weather takes some getting used to. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much.

Bought a house here in 2015 and it's not perfect but it works for me. Property values have gone up significantly since then.

I work in tech here and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The job market for my field is challenging. Feel free to reach out with questions..

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 3 years ago from Chicago and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: Lots of new construction which should help. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in Pine Hills. It's surprisingly good for what you get.
Jobs: The market is growing right now, especially in construction. If you're in marketing you might struggle.
People: Generally hit or miss. It took about 8 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: underrated. Tons of options if you like Italian.
Good luck with whatever you decide..
