Is Ontario good for remote workers?

So, I'm originally from Tucson and Homes are going for about $568,000 on average. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Should I be concerned? It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The city has invested a lot in new development. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a marketing manager who relocated here from Boston about 13 years ago. The main reasons were cost of living and quality of life.

Pros I've experienced:
- Good schools in most areas
- Decent public transit for the size
- Lots of family-friendly activities

Cons that are real:
- Summers can be brutally hot
- Homeless population growing downtown

Financially, we've found it solid compared to where we came from. The market is competitive but not impossible. Groceries are stable, gas is underrated.

Socially, it exceeded my expectations. It's not for everyone but it works for us..
