Top 5 things I love about Ontonagon

Random thought, I'm retired and The median home value here is around $92,100, which is actually reasonable. Rent is about $557/month for a decent place. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The food scene here is surprisingly good. What would you do?

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem decent.

I've been here 9 years and it's exactly what I was looking for. The thing nobody mentions is pet-friendliness. It's reasonable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the outdoor recreation is legit. And if you're into rock climbing, this place is underrated.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The East side vs the South side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

That said, the school system is legit. And if you're into rock climbing, this place is tough.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Oak Park side vs the Highland side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

I've been living here for 11 years and I'd say it exceeded my expectations. The job market is pretty good compared to other places I've lived. Overall Good luck with whatever you decide..
