Best neighborhoods to rent in Orange?

Alright, I'm retired and Rent is about $2,252/month for a decent place. The city has invested a lot in new development. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Thoughts?

I've been living here for 6 years and I'd say I genuinely enjoy living here. The job market is decent compared to other places I've lived. Overall Happy to answer more specific questions..

I've lived in Westside for about 12 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's not perfect but it works for me. When I first moved here from Boston, I was surprised by job market. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- Close to major attractions
- The pet-friendliness scene is hit or miss

The downsides:
- Limited public transit options
- Urban sprawl is real

Overall I'd rate it 8/10 for retirees. It's not for everyone but it works for us..

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. I have mixed feelings honestly. Internet is surprisingly good in most areas.
