Hello, I'm originally from Tampa and Rent is about $2,016/month for a decent place. Crime rate is something to consider -Orange sits at 28.7 per 100K. Median household income is $145,625, which feels pretty solid for the area. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The suburbs are where most families end up. Anyone in a similar situation? Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The suburbs are where most families end up.
