Cheapest neighborhoods in Orangeburg?

Rent is about $765/month for a decent place. The median home value here is around $145,000, which is actually reasonable. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Thoughts? Property taxes are high but you get good services. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.

Bought a house here in 2015 and I genuinely enjoy living here. Property values have gone up a bit since then.

Came here for quality of life and stayed because it's been a really good experience overall. The community vibe is honestly surprisingly good and I don't see that changing anytime soon.
