Dog-friendly places in Orchard Mesa?

So, I'm retired and Median household income is $76,173, which feels about average for the area. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Has anyone dealt with this? Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much.

Came here for a job opportunity and stayed because it's exactly what I was looking for. The outdoor recreation is honestly decent and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 1 years ago from Salt Lake City and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. We're paying /mo for a 1-bed in Highland. It's hit or miss for what you get.

Jobs: The market is growing right now, especially in real estate. If you're in marketing you might struggle.

People: Generally average. It took about 4 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: decent. Tons of options if you like Southern.

Definitely worth checking out..

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 14 years ago from Salt Lake City and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in Sunset. It's excellent for what you get.

Jobs: The market is wild right now, especially in marketing. If you're in education you might struggle.

People: Generally surprisingly good. It took about 4 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: improving. Tons of options if you like sushi.

It's not for everyone but it works for us..

I'm a HR manager and I've found I have mixed feelings honestly. The community is solid and there's always something going on.
