Housing in Oregon compared to Tucson

Hey folks, I'm a college student here and Rent is about $874/month for a decent place. The unemployment rate is 2.4%, which is pretty low. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The weather takes some getting used to. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Am I overthinking this? The suburbs are where most families end up. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.

I work in consulting here and I have mixed feelings honestly. The job market for my field is surprisingly good. Would recommend to anyone considering it..

My experience has been mostly positive. the quality of life is solid. The only thing I'd watch out for is job market. Other than that, Definitely worth checking out..
