Remote worker thinking about Oregon

OK so My family moved here when I was a kid. Homes are going for about $361,200 on average. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Any advice would be great. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.

We moved here with our family and it was the best decision I ever made. Schools in North area are decent. Kids love it here.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is housing market. it's been a really good experience overall. Worth doing your research before committing.
