Hey, I'm a 37-year-old software engineer and Crime rate is something to consider -Orem sits at 90.2 per 100K. It's a a smaller city city with about 97,048 people. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Night life is decent if you know the right spots.
