Thinking about relocating to Orem from Nashville

Alright, The median home value here is around $439,000, which is pretty steep. Rent is about $1,405/month for a decent place. The city has invested a lot in new development. The food scene here is surprisingly good. What neighborhoods would you suggest? Thanks!

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a teacher who relocated here from Boston about 11 years ago. The main reasons were work and a fresh start.

Pros I've experienced:
- Good schools in most areas
- Close to major attractions
- Lots of family-friendly activities

Cons that are real:
- Property taxes are high
- Far from beaches/mountains

Financially, we've found it improving compared to where we came from. It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. Groceries are growing, gas is improving.

Socially, the quality of life is solid. No regrets on my end..
