Orlando in the winter — how bad?

Hey, Thanks in advance! The city has invested a lot in new development.

We moved here with our family and I genuinely enjoy living here. Schools in Pine Hills area are better than expected. Kids love it here.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want pet-friendliness, then yeah this place is great. But if weather matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, I genuinely enjoy living here. Hope this helps!.

Came here for my partner's job and stayed because I love the pace of life here. The healthcare is honestly surprisingly good and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

I work in construction here and it exceeded my expectations. The job market for my field is improving. It's not for everyone but it works for us..

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, it's not perfect but it works for me. Good luck with whatever you decide..

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 13 years ago from Nashville and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Older homes are where the value is. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in Oak Park. It's challenging for what you get.

Jobs: The market is reasonable right now, especially in manufacturing. If you're in construction you might struggle.

People: Generally decent. It took about 16 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: challenging. Tons of options if you like Mediterranean.

Definitely worth checking out..

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 15 years ago from Charlotte and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. We're paying /mo for a 1-bed in Meadowbrook. It's improving for what you get.

Jobs: The market is pricey right now, especially in manufacturing. If you're in consulting you might struggle.

People: Generally decent. It took about 10 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: better than expected. Tons of options if you like Southern.

Would recommend to anyone considering it..
