Ormond Beach in the winter -how bad?

Random thought, I'm retired and Average temperature is around 72--F, so it's warm year-round. With a population of 43,514, Ormond Beach is a smaller city. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The suburbs are where most families end up. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Cheers. The city has invested a lot in new development. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The city has invested a lot in new development. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.

I've been living here for 15 years and I'd say it's been a really good experience overall. The traffic is average compared to other places I've lived. Overall Definitely worth checking out..
