Anyone else love living in Oro Valley?

Been meaning to ask this. I work in food service and Crime rate is something to consider -Oro Valley sits at 47.9 per 100K. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Cheers. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The city has invested a lot in new development. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem decent.

I've been here 9 years and the quality of life is solid. The thing nobody mentions is public transit. It's reasonable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the cost of living is legit. And if you're into fishing, this place is average.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Sunset side vs the Midtown side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Hope this helps!.
