Hello, Born and raised here. It's a a smaller city city with about 47,595 people. With a population of 47,595, Oro Valley is a smaller city. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Anyone in a similar situation? The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. My experience has been mostly positive. it's improved dramatically in recent years. The only thing I'd watch out for is food scene. Other than that, It's not for everyone but it works for us..

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Internet is average in most areas.

Pros I've experienced:

Cons that are real:

- Homeless population growing downtown
Financially, we've found it tough compared to where we came from. If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. Groceries are reasonable, gas is decent.
