Planning a move to Oroville -neighborhoods?

Alright, I've been here for 2 years and Household incomes average around $51,893 in Oroville. Average temperature is around 63--F, so the weather is moderate. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Anyone in a similar situation? The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem hit or miss.

I've been here 15 years and it's improved dramatically in recent years. The thing nobody mentions is outdoor recreation. It's developing and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the cost of living is legit. And if you're into fishing, this place is pretty good.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Highland side vs the Westside side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

Bought a house here in 2020 and it's improved dramatically in recent years. Property values have gone down slightly since then.
