Biggest downsides of living in Oshkosh?

Hey folks, Born and raised here. Median household income is $61,929, which feels about average for the area. Rent is about $908/month for a decent place. Average temperature is around 47--F, so expect cold winters. The unemployment rate is 1.7%, which is pretty low. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The weather takes some getting used to. Let me know your thoughts. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The food scene here is surprisingly good. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.

I work in retail here and it was the best decision I ever made. The job market for my field is hit or miss. It's not for everyone but it works for us..
