Oshkosh in the winter -how bad?

Curious what people think. Born and raised here. Household incomes average around $61,929 in Oshkosh. You can expect to pay around $908 for rent here. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. What are your go-to spots?

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 9 years ago from Nashville and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: The market is competitive but not impossible. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in Riverside. It's decent for what you get.

Jobs: The market is established right now, especially in manufacturing. If you're in engineering you might struggle.

People: Generally average. It took about 14 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: solid. Tons of options if you like seafood.

Happy to answer more specific questions..
