Hey, Homes are going for about $128,900 on average. Median household income is $62,172, which feels about average for the area. You can expect to pay around $880 for rent here. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Worth the trade-offs? It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The weather takes some getting used to. The suburbs are where most families end up. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The food scene here is surprisingly good. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The weather takes some getting used to. I'd say it's better for families than young singles.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want community vibe, then yeah this place is great. But if weather matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

Hot take but it exceeded my expectations. I know a lot of people disagree but after 11 years here, that's my honest assessment.
