Job market in Oskaloosa for tech?

Alright, I'm single, late 20s, and Rent is about $880/month for a decent place. It's a a small town city with about 11,492 people. Average temperature is around 50--F, so expect cold winters. The median home value here is around $128,900, which is actually reasonable. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The weather takes some getting used to. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Should I be concerned? Thanks in advance! There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The suburbs are where most families end up. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.

Came here for weather and stayed because it exceeded my expectations. The outdoor recreation is honestly excellent and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

Hot take but I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. I know a lot of people disagree but after 14 years here, that's my honest assessment.
