Longtime lurker here, Born and raised here. The unemployment rate is 3.3%, which is pretty low. Rent is about $2,108/month for a decent place. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Any help is appreciated. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Property taxes are high but you get good services. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.
