Unpopular opinion about Ossining

I'm a 50-year-old sales rep and Household incomes average around $100,997 in Ossining. Homes are going for about $444,200 on average. It's a a smaller city city with about 26,979 people. The unemployment rate is 3.3%, which is pretty low. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Property taxes are high but you get good services. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The city has invested a lot in new development. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.

I'm a writer and I've found it was the best decision I ever made. The community is surprisingly good and there's always something going on.

Came here for retirement and stayed because the quality of life is solid. The cost of living is honestly tough and I don't see that changing anytime soon.
