OK so I work in marketing and It's a a small town city with about 8,699 people. Crime rate is something to consider -Othello sits at 83.5 per 100K. Homes are going for about $278,600 on average. Median household income is $65,757, which feels about average for the area. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The suburbs are where most families end up. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Property taxes are high but you get good services.
