Is it worth buying in Ottawa?

Hi all, Poverty rate is 9.7%, which is pretty low. Average temperature is around 55--F, so expect cold winters. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Worth the trade-offs? Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is food scene. it's exactly what I was looking for. Worth doing your research before committing.
