I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is food scene. I genuinely enjoy living here. Worth doing your research before committing.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem surprisingly good.

I've been here 7 years and it's not perfect but it works for me. The thing nobody mentions is outdoor recreation. It's stable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the cultural scene is legit. And if you're into fishing, this place is challenging.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Westside side vs the Highland side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

I work in real estate here and it's been a really good experience overall. The job market for my field is tough. Would recommend to anyone considering it..
